Steven graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2009 where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. During time at CMCC, Steven completed a certificate program at the University of McMaster. Amongst many other certifications Steven is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with NSCA.
As former U Sports athlete and amateur athlete in combat sports, Steven he understands the impact of injuries on both performance and well being. Steven treatment focus is more than just pain reduction. Steven focuses on injury rehabilitation to repair the injury and also to make injured tissues more resilient to subsequent injury. A typical appointment with Steven involves a focused assessment, soft tissue therapies, acupuncture, rehab exercises. After a course of treatment, depending on the injury, it is not uncommon to Steven in the gym with patients going over strengthening exercises, progressions and regression to ensure optimal function.
When Steven is not “saving the world, one patient at a time”, he spends his time playing touch football, watching all things NFL, and training in mixed martial arts. Not one to neglect training his brain as well, Steven also enjoys reading strength and rehabilitation articles and watching Jeopardy!
Evgeny graduated from Western University in 2017 with a Masters of Physical Therapy after receiving his Bachelor of Biological and Medical Sciences, with an Honors Specialization in Physiology, from Western University in 2015.
As an avid athlete throughout his life, he understands the importance of rehabilitation and the value of living life pain-free following many of his own sports injuries. As a physical therapist and rehabilitation specialist, Evgeny is committed to developing a comprehensive, evidence-based, and patient-centered wellness plan for his clients. His treatment philosophy is focused on patient education, manual therapy and exercise prescription to help clients achieve their goal and return to activities that they love. Evgeny is dedicated to maintaining the highest standard of care for his clients, and to this end intends to pursue his professional development in several areas. To date, he has completed courses in the Mulligan Concept Lower Quadrant, Active Release Therapy, and has obtained his Level 1 Certification in Manual Therapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. In addition, he intends to advance his skillset through a variety of post-graduate studies such as certification in acupuncture, dry needling, and pursuing FCAMPT status.
Outside of providing exceptional patient experiences, Evgeny participates in various sports such as volleyball, tennis, boxing, and weightlifting. In addition, Evgeny has been the head coach of the 17U Girls team at Venom Volleyball Club in the Ontario Volleyball Association. He also volunteers as an assistant volleyball coach at Pleasant View Middle School, Sir John A. Macdonald Collegiate Institute and Bounce Volleyball Club.
